On Thursday, I decided to head out of camping on the Middle Fork Flathead River. I had technically overstayed my welcome by one day already, and I didn’t want to tempt the Rangers there to yell at me. Eyeing several hikes this weekend on the East side of Glacier, I headed to Cut Bank Campground.
Cut Bank Campground is a small, primitive campground in the park. It operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, at only $10 per night. Not bad! It filled up my first night here, so I was glad to arrive when a few spots were still open. I snagged my spot and called it home!
Funny enough, cell reception is remarkably spotty, but with my booster, I’m able to get some workable 4G LTE on Verizon. Not the greatest, but it works!
I’ll be spending at least three days here, unless I decide to stay longer–there is a seven day limit at this spot.
